We went behind the scenes with Myles Edgars of the Haida nation as he completed his newest piece.
His latest totem features killer whale with raven, raven with moon, and eagle. This totem also features beautiful abalone inlays throughout.

First day at Ocean House ended with a lovely meal (salmon of course) after a day’s outing on the water exploring an ancient Haida village then returning to the lodge to chill in the library. Such a great and relaxing place to be!

Our inner are pretty darn excited about this 1870’s map drawn by Sir Sandford Fleming. It features the northernmost tip of Vancouver Island. This thing is old and very detailed! More info and print + frame pricing available on site.
