Starting January 2019, I'll be working as a Talk Show Host on National Television.
Comcast, a Global Telecommunications Conglomerate, announced today at 10:00AM that they have added AFRO (of Afrotainment Channels) as a new platform that will broadcast shows and entertainment on daytime TV. Comcast currently controls 40% of the television market in the United States. This changes the game, making AFRO the 2nd Largest Privately owned Black Owned Television Network Globally.
The AFROTAINMENT Family of channels is a New York-based network of 9 linear television channels and digital properties (AFRO, Afrotainment, Afrotainment Music, Afro Sports, ABO, OUI TV, TV9JA, HAITI HD, YEBO) dedicated to broadcast the best Afro-Centric content in North America. Our channels are available on Sling TV, DISH Network, Altice USA, Verizon FIOS, Frontier Communications, Bell Fibe, Videotron, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.
Comcast's Press Release Here
As of this morning over 156 American Media and Television platforms shared the breaking news on their platforms.
The viewership is set to begin in the homes of 12-40 Million people on basic cable. This doesn't include international viewers on the internet and those who subscribe to streaming services. Most importantly this means that the era of Black Television and Content has been jump started once again.
We have work to do. I'm honored to be a part of such a phenomenal experience. There are no limits!
