“Old Pine” by Ben Howard
“Hot sand on toes, cold sand in sleeping bags
I've come to know that memories
Were the best things you ever had
The summer shone beat down on bony backs
So far from home where the ocean stood
Down dust and pine cone tracks
We slept like dogs down by the fire side
Awoke to the fog all around us
The boom of summer time
Steady as the stars in the woods
And the warmth rang true inside these bones
As the old pine fell we sang
Just to bless the morning.”r

Definitely excited to show you guys this one! The blade is forged from 1095 and is 3.75" long. The handle is stacked leather with brick red spacers and brass fittings. The tang runs the length of the handle and is peeled over the butt cap. I also did a hand stitched leather sheath for it. This one is sold, but don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to place an order!
Weekend schooling @ BorrasKustomDesigns had me turning out 2 very nicely completed blades. I have made blades but not of this quality. I did the profiling , grinding , and sharpening while my bro assembled scales. This knife is from a gifted SanMai billet. My nephew was on hand giving me pointers and answering my many questions. Thanks Bryn and Namen Borras.#penturner#custompens#upcycler#madeinUSA#handforged#handmade # welder #silverwarependants#yardartmaker
I recently finished this knife for a customer who ordered it for a surprise gift so I couldn't share until now.
The blade material is #doomsdaydamascus from @backyard_blades and has a g10 bolster, ironwood handle wirh copper spacers and liners. Did a hybrid kydex/leather sheath.
My ‘Queen Bee’! Possibly the most elaborate piece I’ve created to date. I’m so proud of how it turned out and pleased that something I saw in my mind’s eye became this in reality. Swipe to see how the process unfolded! #queenbee#handmadejewelry#cobalto#tourmaline#rhodolite
