In a blinking of an eye, we were approaching the end of somewhat middle of October. I somehow had an opportunity to be part of my friend's @balwadamohit sister wedding in Jaipur. Yes, the Jaipur. Weddings have always been an extravagant affair in India with #festivities lasting up to a week or even more. I was fascinated by the ‘carnival like atmosphere’ and a sense of ‘impending adventure’ of being a part of such wedding began to tantalize my senses. The air was laced with the mouth wailing aroma of melted butter, spices and vegetables being fried at one end. And, on the other, there comes the bar counter, heavily blocked with hip guys & girls and uncles and some jazzy aunties. The entire shelf was covered with #fancy bottles, clearly indicating a lavish arrangement. This place was getting interesting by the minute. With all of the above, some drags here and there helped us relieve a lot of stress and made it more jovial.
The wedding’s grandeur is directly proportional to the family’s reputation in the society in India. This wedding was truly one of a kind, and definitely a beautiful and heartening one. I am blessed to be able to witness it! Congratulations once again, Namrata @namz1112 & Karan, stay in #love! (:
