6h00, matin d'été, retrouver un de mes endroits préférés pour le yoga 🙏 .
Tôt le matin, toujours ☀️ voir le soleil s'élever doucement dans le ciel, l'envol des oiseaux mais aussi celui des poissons qui sautent hors de l'eau 🐦🐟 .

Méditation courte, s'imprégner des bruits, des odeurs, de la beauté de l'instant. Salutations au soleil ☀️ et ouverture de coeur parce qu'en ce moment j'en ai bien besoin. Changement de saison, de cycle, de vie, ça se chamboule à l'intérieur. Le feu intérieur.. on connaît bien ça quand on est une Sagittaire ♐🔥 L'eau me ramène toujours en équilibre. A cet endroit j'ai l'impression de pratiquer sur un bateau. L'eau, l'eau et encore l'eau... l'élément qui fait battre mon coeur.
Prendre le temps de respirer, inspirer l'harmonie, expirer en diffusant cette harmonie dans tout notre être. Inspirer ce que je veux, expirer ce qui n'a plus lieu d'être. Faire le tri, le grand ménage intérieur 💛 .

.I'm in the middle of moving cities and I'd been losing patience with my direction less approach.
It's also the beginning of my Yoga career and sometimes it feels like a dark pit that could be bottomless too.
But, it's better that it's bottomless since I've the scope to fall and not get hurt!

Du använder mestadels din egna kropp som belastning och tränar både styrka och kondition. Vi är varannan tisdag hos Tullinge Kanotförening, annars tränar vi utomhus i närheten av studion som ikväll 25/6. Vi dåligt väder är vi inomhus☀️

Malasana, one of the best poses ever...not only during your Yoga practice but throughout the day we should implement this posture in our lives. In India you see people on the streets sitting like this, women cooking or selling vegetables even in high age. The Eastern toilets are designed in such a way that you need to sit in a deep squatting position - and they're having good reasons to. Malasana has great health benefits for the reproductive system and supports Apana Vayu, the downward moving energy. So for every situation in which we have to eliminate and let go, this position is best. The intestine is not compressed and curved as it happens in sitting on western toilets. The sitting position on western toilets prolonges the process of excretion and requires more pressure, this can lead to hemorrhoids and diseases of the intestine. In a deep squat the rectum is just straight and anything inside can easily find it's way out.
Also during periods this posture can be very relaxing for the lower back, relieving menstrual pain.
Malasana is one of the best postures for childbirth. The pelvis is fully opened, the sacrum free and mobile. All the pelvic bones and joints have freeness to expand as the baby's head comes through and the pelvic diameter can increase.
Besides Malasana is great for relieving lower back pain, increases ankle and knee mobility.
Most of the jobs nowadays force us to sit on a chair for many hours, leading to stiff knees, lower back pain, tight hips, restricted flow of energy...it's super important to move as much as we can in free time or sit in different ways. Start implementing Malasana in your day for a few minutes and start doing small tasks in different positions. Since I live in India I started eating on the floor sitting in crossed leg position, working on my laptop in Vajrasana for a while. When I didn't have a washing machine I was sitting in Malasana washing my clothes. Comfort shouldn't be the most important factor in lifestyle choices. Small daily changes can have such a big impact on our health. Experiment, try something new and let yourself get inspired by the habits of other cultures.

I received this beautiful text today from this amazing woman right here who has been with me as a client, and now a friend, for almost 2 years. She's working through a past shoulder surgery and a few other physical obstacles, but today I had the privilege of having a one on one session with her, and I challenged her in a completely different way, worked different muscles, focused on tight and proper form, and got her sweating like never before.
I saw a new found strength in her that I had not seen before. It was amazing!

Hi friends!

Welcome to day 5 #wheelpose for #yogaforalousmania . It took me only 4 hours to upload this video.😶
Over past few months, I realized that I practice wheel as per my spinal needs. So if my shoulders feel tight, I prefer the straight legged version and it opened the shoulders perfectly, especially against a vertical surface and always balance the back bend with a forward fold. It definitely helps easing into deeper bends. Looking forward to all your beautiful wheels.
