Saturday circles. .
When you wash your candle holders plus all the stones and shells in them, so as not to bring old grime into the new boat. .
Also simmering avocado skins and stones for dye and ink. And the first harvest of hazelnuts from my new allotment. The orchard part needs a thorough prune this winter, so the weight of the boughs doesn’t split the trees. But it will be wonderful, and already is. Much, much to be done there, including clearing a skip load of dead leylandii and tons of small shrubs that should not have been planted. If anyone can recommend a good garden clearance company in SW London /Surrey, I’d be grateful, not having my own flatbed truck... I will gatden organically, and almost all ‘no dig’ method, fruit bushes, rhubarb, etc. Much on the hugs allotments is left wild, so there is both gardening and guardianing. . .
The hazels are delicious, I will process them tomorrow. The avos will steep for a few days at least, and the candles will be lit tonight. News of more import, tomorrow. Although, tbh, trees nuts, inks and stones are all pretty important to me. . .
