Transformation Tuesday ✨ swipe..
I met Bek in January of this year, she was very desperate to change her health and lifestyle. Bek wanted to learn about Nutrition and healthy eating, drop 5kg and be symptom free. She was experiencing arthritic pain in her fingers, wrists, jaw and knees. She suffered from brain fog, sluggishness, fatigue, bloating and a general feeling of unhealthyness. Having a family history of disease it was time to put preventative measures into place and make a change.
I started Bek off with small nutrition and lifestyle changes and have now completely overhauled both. Discovered the root cause of her symptoms which are being addressed and improving every week. Bek started Personal training 1-2x per week and aiming to hit a step goal most days to keep active.
In the last 5 months working together she has achieved: · Almost 5kg fat loss, 8cm loss on her back, 7cm loss on her waist all with zero calorie restrictions or “dieting” and minimal exercise.
· Her arthritic pain has gone (that’s right..gone)!!
· Digestive discomfort and bloating has gone.
· Her brain function and focus has improved.
· Her fatigue and energy has improved greatly.
Bek looks and feels fantastic and I am so proud of the changes she has made. I am excited to see what the next 5 months brings.

Taking that leap to start something new is scary sometimes. I jumped straight in as someone trying to get healthy but also coach along my way because I knew all of the benefits before hand and that I would eventually start helping others with their own process. I honestly was TERRIFIED with this commitment though. I didn’t know my mentor personally or have anyone really close to me to help me through this all so of course I had my doubts. ✨
“Will I actually lose this weight?”
“Is this money I’m spending just going to waste?”
“Am I going to be able to make a profit as a coach?”

These were some of my thoughts prior to making my first commitment. So, to answer those questions:
Yes, I’ve lost weight and I’ve kept it off. Still counting the pounds falling off months later.
No, my money isn’t going to waste. It’s going into the MOST beneficial thing it can go to. My health. My future. My well-being. And my savings account.
Yes!! As a coach I get bonuses 💸, commission💰, paid trips 🌴, discounted products and the joy of helping others on a daily basis. 💖

I’ve reread this quote posted above soooo many times as a way to keep me motivated because I don’t want to just do this because it’s easy. I want to do this because it scares me and has forced me to grow as a person in too many aspects to count. I’ve always been the type of person who stops when the going gets tough to save me trouble but I’ve really been missing out on life changing opportunities trying to “play it safe” Point is, take the leap. If you really want it you’ll go through ANYTHING to reach it. ✨

Oh man.. this is rough, and very hard to post...

2010 was mid eating disorder. I was playing volleyball, dancing, working, and trying to maintain my life while eating JUST enough to stay alive. I look back on those years and I see a zombie.
.
2011 was me trying to get out of an eating disorder and MAN did I pack on the pounds without even realizing. When I started eating again, I REALLY started eating again. Until I was looking for these photos, I didn’t realize how much weight I had really gained and I almost didn’t post this because of that.
.
2013 was me figuring out this fitness and health thing. I was doing A LOT of physical work everyday and really probably not eating quite enough of the right things or macro balance. I was definitely strong, but still not really comfortable. I was teaching myself everything I could and trialing my way through fitness. This was before Instagram was huge and there was SOOO much online!
.
Fast forward to now. It’s been a longggggg road full of ups and downs, trial and error, and BST (blood, sweat, and tears). The years have been full of surgeries, fluctuating weight, serious depression, anxiety, great times, and very dark times. It’s taken a lot of research, meditation, prayer, support, work, and TIME to get to where I am now. I’m not going to tell you that I love my body every single day. I’m telling you, I still STRUGGLE with my self-image, but I know that I am mentally stronger and much healthier than I’ve ever been. I perform optimally, fuel myself well, and do my best to love myself.
.
There are bad days though. Depression is NO joke, and neither is anxiety. Since the worst stint of my depression in the fall of 2016, I’ve been working to figure out who I am again. I changed a lot mentally, and I’ve been reworking to be the best version of myself physically, mentally, and spiritually.
.
If you’ve ever struggled, or do struggle, with depression, anxiety, and/or an eating disorder, I get you. I am with you. And I believe you are stronger and more powerful than your brain will let you believe right now. Keep on fighting. Keep on working on growth. Keep on living because you are beautiful and worth it.

I may not always have it together and sometimes feel like there is a lot of pressure when it comes down to deciding to be a health coach!
I am still on this journey like you, but I love helping you on the way! I love seeing the changes my mamas go through!
Do I still eat donuts and chocolate heck yes I do!
Do I still drink wine, ummmm I’m a mom yes, yes I do!
I have learned to eat and drink in moderation!
Do I slip up? Sure do!
Do I quit? No!
Does that mean I have to have the perfect body? What does that even mean? Does it mean I am completely ripped or I’m stronger, healthier, and fit? IT MEANS BOTH! I will always work on that 6 pack, but I don’t expect to have one. I’m ok with that because well, as stated donuts, chocolate, wine! I envy and am proud of the mamas that are ripped they worked hard to get there and look flipping amazing! I envy the mamas that are healthier, stronger, and fit because they worked hard to get there! I have the support and accountability from other amazing mamas on the same journey!
My hair has gotten longer, my everything is stronger, I’m more confident in my own skin, than I have ever been! This world has turned into such a hateful world and it’s sad! I will not be one of those people, it starts by loving yourself first! Your children are watching you, boys or girls. What are you teaching them?! How to be healthy, kind, loving, and motivating towards others and one day their spouse? Or, how to tear others down, because you haven’t realized it’s you, you are angry with. That truth bomb right there hurts, because I’ve been that person! Anxiety takes over, depression, and stress! They can take over your life in a heart beat! Don’t let that happen! You can choose to change, you just have to ask for help!

The moment I really became self-reflective was the moment I was able to gauge where I was in life and identify what I had to do to gain the health (both physically and mentally) that I desperately needed. That’s one of the biggest tips I share when people ask how to conquer anxiety... be self-reflective. It’s not the most fun process but so crucial and anyone can do it! 🙌🏻

My lunch yesterday from the Cheesecake Factory! I love this place. This one had grilled chicken, spinach, kale, avocado, broccoli, grapes, roasted pear, wild blueberries, onion, sunflower seeds, almonds, and a lemon-blueberry vinaigrette.
