Decided to make a fresh jar of foot scrub today! Odor and dry skin on my toes has always been a problem as a dancer, but I'm sure most people deal with the same issues. I was surprised to learn from my dermatologist that dry layers of skin on your feet actually keep the skin from doing its job to work against harmful viruses and bacteria. So keeping your feet moisturized and exfoliated is one of the easiest ways to prevent warts and athletes foot!

Enter foot scrubs!
Here's my favorite recipe:
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Castile soap
1/3 c white sugar (depending on desired texture)
5 drops tea tree oil

This scrub helps get rid of dry skin, while cleansing and moisturizing the skin. Plus tea tree oil is said to be antibacterial and antiviral!

Been gone from insta for awhile! And my life has taken an interesting turn. I've decided to stop pursuing a ballet career. I still love ballet. I'll continue to take class and teach at a local studio. But my obsession changed over there last couple of years from wanting to glorify God through dance to wanting to go to the ends of the earth, where the Gospel hasn't been proclaimed, to bring the good news about Jesus Christ to the unreached. I used to think that quitting dance would be devastating. But God moved my heart, and I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced dancing professionally, but also so ready to move forward on a different path. But that path still involves healthy fuel for my body! I still can't figure out if "once a ballerina" = "always a ballerina". What do you think? Should I change my handle?

Finally my rhubarb porridge recipe 🌱🌸

Basically I create this recipe by doing a crazy improvisation in my kitchen πŸ˜…
And sometimes good things happened ...

β€’ I cooked frozen rhubarb in a pan with just a bit of almond milk.
β€’ I covered it and let it cook until everything was liquid.
β€’ Then I added my oats without stopping to stir.

🌱Finally the beetroot bread recipe :
β€’ Vegan,GF, DF, RSF (100% good for you)
β€’
🌟Ingredients...
*Note* I halved this recipe to create one small beetroot loaf & one with flax seeds.
β€’
- 3 1/2 cups of GF Flour (I mixed 2 cups of buckwheat flour with 1 cup of rice flour and 1/2 cup of oat flour)
- 1 cup of hot water.
- 2 tbsp of olive oil.
- 2 tsp of salt.
- 3 tsp of baking soda.
.*For Beetroot Loaf*.
- Replace half the water with 100% beetroot juice.
* For the flax seeds bread *.
- Just add 1/4 cup of flax seeds.

1. Mix all dry ingredients together until well combined.
2. Add oils & warm water gradually and mix with spoon until thick enough to knead (massage) w/clean hands.
3. Once well combined gradually add and knead beetroot juice into the dough.
4. Preheat oven to 180 degrees, fan-forced, cover bread dough with a damp cloth and let sit in a dry cool place for 25mins.
5. After 25-30mins uncover dough and place in oven for 30-35mins (if using half the ingredients listed as we have) otherwise 40mins.
6. Keep an eye on your bread and when it’s ready (poke test & personal preference) remove to cool & enjoy straight away!

Who wants to eat a banana-mint nicecream inside of a whole coconut ? 🌱πŸ₯₯

I know you will tell me "it's impossible to cut a fresh coconut exactly in two perfect parts"
But it's wrong !!! Take a big knife and with the not cutting side and whack the coconut all around. Continue until the coconut cracks, then separate the both parts and that's it 🌸

I love this green breakfast 🌱 it gives me a lot of energy and detox my body at the same time 🌱

🌟I start to prepare my matcha latte with :

I mix 1 tsp of matcha with 1 tbsp of hot water then I add the milk (hot or cold) and the date and I blend everything .
