The viola in this bowl makes me happy. Actually the nutrition in the bowl makes me happy as well!

While to some people this may look like a meal to spike your blood sugar but to me it is about portion control.
There is only 1/2 cup of gf oats, 1/4 of a Granny Smith apple which has a lower glycemic value than a typical red apple, the blueberries and the strawberries also have a lower glycemic value than other fruits.

I added Maca to the oatmeal once it was cooked. If you don’t know about Maca I suggest you do a little research on it to see if it is right for you. It has been noted to be high in antioxidants, and nutrients; some of which are iron, magnesium, zinc. As well as essential fatty acids.

Then of course cinnamon, and a small portion of natural cashews, raw pumpkin seeds, raw cacao and natural nut butter.

All in all it filled my tummy and kept me going to my mid morning veggie snack. It was just right for me👌

Muchas veces pensamos que es mejor opción desayunar ese “plato de frutas con yogurt” o ese “licuado de plátano” (y seamos honestos, muchos terminan desayunando algo más ya que les da hambre)
Claro que tiene muchísimos beneficios, eso no lo voy a negar, pero eso no lo hace la mejor opción para desayunar o comer en mayor cantidad. Piensa en tus objetivos, tu actividad durante el día y trata de equilibrar tu alimentación
Elige de forma inteligente!
En lo personal, me gustan los bowls pero siempre lo comparto con alguien y lo consumo a media mañana o bien, consumo una pequeña porción como preworkout.

Good morning! Post Workout eats this morning! Was craving PB, Banana and Strawberries throughout my WHOLE workout so I‎t only felt right to follow through with my cravings ☺️


As you know I like to be open and honest on this account because my goal is to help others and let them know they aren’t the only ones struggling with certain things! So every Saturday morning, first thing I like to do is a weigh in. I do this because I like to monitor my weight and make sure I don’t go below a certain weight. Well this morning when I got on the scale I saw the number was up 1.5 lbs! How could that be!?! I exercise everyday, I eat healthy, how is this possible!?! There’s many reasons why the scale could have been up 1.5 pounds this week and truly I’ll never know exactly why but here are a few of the possible reasons why I could have gained this weight over the past week:
1. Not enough water drank
2. Over doing the carbs
3.I could have gained Muscle
There are many more reasons of why this fluctuation could have happened! But this is totally normal for your weight to fluctuate! Don’t become discourage if you see an increase on the scale! It’s okay! Everybody’s weight fluctuates!

🌾1/2 taza pure de datil LuVegan (remojar 1.5 taza de Datiles empacao cubierta de agua caliente por 15min)
Relleno de Caramelo: 🍫El Resto del pure Datil LuVegan 🍫2 cdas crema de almendras o cacahuate
🍫1 cda sopera de @sunwarriormexico sabor vainilla
🍫Canela (opcional) 🍫1 cdita esencia de vainilla 🔹1/2 cdita de sal de mar en grano para espolvorear 🌰1/4 taza almendras y nueces de brasil 🌀1/2 taza Barra de chocolate en cuadritos sin lactosa derretida
Procedimiento:
🥣Procesar el pure de datil según las instrucciones mencionadas👆🏻
Colocar mezcla en un recipiente redondo.
Colocar en el mismo procesador (no hay necesidad de lavarlo) la harina de elección y 1/2 puré de datil Luvegan
Vertir la mezcla del turrón presionando en un refractario de vidrio cuadrado o rectangular con una espátula hasta que quede uniforme.
Revolver el resto del puré con los demás ingredientes del “Relleno del caramelo” excepto la sal de mar y colocar la mezcla encima del turrón.
Luego picar almendras y nueces presionando con cuidado encima del caramelo. Espolvorea la sal por encima.
Congela hasta que quede durito/firme.
Derretir el chocolate hasta que quede semi liquido.
Una vez congelados la mezcla previa cortar en 12 pzas y bañarlos en del chocolate derretido con la ayuda de una espátula y un tenedor. Congelar nuevamente hasta que endurezca el 🍫y violla VEGAN SNICKERS AL ATAQUE!!! 🤤
