Happy Sunday!! ☀️ Off to a bit of a slow start this morning after sleeping in, but that’s what Sundays are for, right? Got a quick 2 mile recovery run in and now I’m chowin’ down on these blender waffles I made :) :) dEATS👉🏼 1 egg, 1/4 cup oats, 1/4 cup @terrasoul cassava flour, 1 tbsp honey, a dash of cinnamon, and a 1/3 cup of @califiafarms almond milk. Topped it all off with some fresh strawbs from the farmers market, blueberries, caramelized bananas, homemade cinnamon almond butter, and @mammachia chia seeds. •

Hi everyone! So, I am embarking on a 40 day rebooting of my system as part of a program to detox that has been prescribed by my reflexologist. I’ve been doing well but this term and exams got me good. My adrenals, liver and gut need some TLC. So what does that entail? Heaps of GOOD PLANT FOODS. I’ve been inspiring myself by watching all my favorite documentaries and reading super inspiring books such as: The Big Juice Experiment, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, What The Health, Forks over Knives & some others. They are super informative and always get me so excited to be living this way and to be spreading the PLANT POWERED MESSAGE 🌙 .

So the specifics are: only WHOLE FOODS for 40 days (which isn’t too hard as I eat predominantly Whole Foods). No coffee (which I must admit saw me through exams and is going to be haaaard to drop), no refined foods, no processed foods, and lower in sodium (I rely on soy sauce waaaay to much in life 😅). I’ll be eating high raw during this time with daily supplements of a daily green juice (comprised of celery, lemon, ginger, apple and greens), Moringa, Baobab, Raw Cacao, a probiotic, and B12. I’ll also be eating heaps of sweet taters, avocado and seeds and legumes. And greens. All the greens. .

This is a physical releasing process but also an emotional/energetic releasing process. One that my mom has jumped on board with, too. Domingão começou delicioso com uma panqueca super fácil!

Usei apenas dois ovos batidos, 1 colher de farinha de grão de bico (podia ser de aveia ou amêndoas), e uma colher de chá de psylium (opcional). Coloquei na frigideira untada com manteiga e assei dos dois lados em fogo baixo (tampada). Recheei com queijo colonial, tomatinhos e manjericão da Horta! Coloquei pitada de orégano também 😋 e por cima um fio de azeite de oliva extravirgem!

Back to basics 🙌🏻 Avo toast with @naturalgrocers soft boiled eggs to kick start this beautiful Saturday morning.

How to make soft boiled eggs: bring water to a boil, softly place eggs in boiling water (in shell) and boil for ~6 minutes.

Take em out of the boiling water with a slotted spoon and place into ice water- this stops them from continuing to cook. Peel gently + you’ve got yourself a nice soft boiled egg with a runny Center! 👌🏼💯🙌🏻

“Is there yogurt in there?” Baes breakfast bowls are so good 🤤. Never been the biggest yogurt lover, but when I tried yogurt in Europe a few years ago I loved it so much, they do it right! I’ve been trying to find a good one here in the states. I really love @wallabyyogurt. Pasture raised cows make dairy products so much tastier. And the cows are happier too!
Most yogurt is not healthy and full of sugar. I buy plain yogurt and sweeten it with natural ingredients like fruit&honey. It really makes me sad that well known companies that produce sugary yogurt products are endorsed by associations to help with diabetes and heart disease. Take a look at some labels next time you shop for yogurt!

Sunday just got real messy. 🙈 Grain-free waffles drizzled in walnut butter & homemade strawberry jam. 🍓

Strawberry Chia Jam
- 2 cups of strawberries, halved
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tbsp of erythritol for a sugar free option (can be omitted or substituted by raw honey or maple syrup to taste)

Add strawberries, chia seeds, and sweetener to blender and process until you reach the consistency you want. Add to a saucepan and cook on low for 5 minutes to thicken, while stirring occasionally. & that’s it! Easy like Sunday morning. ✨

Un desayuno hecho con Amor!!❤️
Lo prometido es deuda. Aquí les dejo la receta de estos ricos, fáciles snack saludables, ideal para quitar la ansiedad y el antojito por algo dulce.
Ingredientes:
*2 tazas de avena en copos(laminadas).
*1 plátano grande y maduro. El que tiene la cáscara con manchas marrones es el ideal. Es más dulce.😉
*2 cucharadas de azúcar de coco o 30 gotitas de stevia líquida si tu tipo de alimentación es vegana.
*2 cucharadas de aceite de coco 🥥 o mantequilla.
*2 cucharadas de miel 🍯 *3 cucharadas de cacao en polvo.
*3 cucharaditas de chía remojadas en 1/2taza de agua tibia.
*2 cucharaditas de polvos de hornear.
*Nueces picadas para la mezcla y para adornar.
*2 cucharadas de bayas de Goji o frutos rojos. *Especias a gusto. (Canela, jengibre, esencia de vainilla, etc.

Preparación:
Moler con un tenedor el plátano, agregar la chía remojada (con su líquido) y agregar todos los demás ingredientes revólver todo muy bien y dejarlo reposar por unos 10 min en el refrigerador para que se impregnen bien todos los ingredientes y quede la masa más compacta al momento de hacer las bolitas.
Retirar del refrigerador y con la ayuda de sus manos o con dos cucharas sacar la cantidad necesaria para hacer las bolitas, dependiendo del tamaño te saldrán 12 unidades.
Con el horno previamente encendido poner las bolitas semi aplastadas en la bandeja aceitada o con papel mantequilla, colocar algunas nueces y bayas de Goyi. Hornear a 180 grados por 15 minutos.
Retirar y dejar enfriar.
Y listos sus snack saludables, cargados de fibra y bajos en carbohidratos. Ideales para acompañar un rico café o un chocolate caliente en estas frías tardes de invierno.

〰️ Une sublime enseigne testée sur Brugge «Tarteline ». Je me suis tout simplement régalée. Tout est fait maison (ce que je préfère) et à défaut que l’endroit soit petit, il est très chaleureux et confortable. Accueillantes et aux petits soins, ces deux charmantes sœurs vous donne le sourire et vous font vous sentir comme à la maison.
J’ai choisis le breakfast (que l’on peut également prendre en après-midi) : on a trois possibilités au niveau des accompagnements. J’ai décidé de goûter les « Toasts » avec les fruits (frais) : blueberries, fraises, framboises et morceaux de banane. Ils sont réalisés avec du lait, du sucre roux et de la cannelle. Je n’en pouvais plus tellement c’était bon 🤭. Mon n’amoureux a décidé de goûter la quiche maison aux lardons, fêta, tomates et épinards accompagnée de sa salade/ vinaigrette. Je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher de lui piquer un bout 😄! À vous de deviner si j’ai apprécié.. 😘 〰️ A sublime brand tested "Tarteline". I simply feasted. Everything is homemade (which I prefer) and failing that the place is small, it is very warm and comfortable. Friendly and caring, these two charming sisters give you a smile and make you feel at home. I chose the breakfast (which can also be taken in the afternoon): there are three possibilities at the level of accompaniments. I decided to taste the "Toasts" with the fruits (fresh): blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and pieces of banana. They are made with milk, red sugar and cinnamon. I could not stand it so much it was good. My lover decided to try the homemade bacon, feta, tomato and spinach quiche with salad / vinaigrette. I could not help but sting a bit 😄! Je vous présente ma passion ces jours ci , qui est le Porridge,
une recette très simple, le base sera toujours la même avec un mélange de flocons d'avoine et d'eau (ou lait végétal) après si vous aimez la banane cuite vous pourriez en rajouter
Pour le Topping c'est suivant votre envie, vous faites un mélange de fruits (fraise, banane pêche myrtille...) graines (chia, lin...) Et pourquoi pas des épices comme la cannelle ou rajouter de baie d'Açai, miel, sirop d'agave... Voilà ça se prépare en 15min ce qui prend du temps c'edt vraiment la base au niveau de la cuisson (10aine de minutes)
Tout ça pour vous dire que je suis devenue une Addict et j'essaie toujours d'innover

recipe: - 1 cup buckwheat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup rolled oats

other bowl: - 1 mashed banana
- flax eggs (linseeds and water)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup almond milk

mix together and add some water
