I’ve been prioritizing a lot recently. Prioritizing a few extra minutes of sleep over wearing make up, staying home to do some cleaning instead of going to the gym, spending late nights in coffee shops getting school done instead of watching Netflix in bed. Today I slept late. I missed the gym. I couldn’t get some chores done. I was rushed out of the house with a fresh face and dirty hair. I guess I am making this post as a reminder to my self- every day won’t be perfect. You won’t be perfect. You’re human and you’re doing a really great job at it. Eat 3 meals a day. If you miss the gym, the world keeps moving. Allow yourself to rest. Take your medications. Sweat to feel empowered. Being imperfectly human, made in exactness, is wonderful (even if it’s messy).
