My absolute favourite go-to treat/snack at the moment! 🖤🖤 In my mind this is as good as a snickers/mars bar/any kind of chocolate bar, and it easily tops all of them. When you haven’t been eating refined sugar for a while, believe it or not your taste buds actually improve, and things that used to not taste very sweet taste just like a snickers bar 🙈 You really don’t need much to satisfy that sweet tooth and you can do it with simple natural sweets like dates!!! Because these sugars are not refined or overly processed there’s no sugar crash/fatigue/feeling like you need to eat a bunch more because you’re so wiped out. It’s satisfying and it doesn’t ruin your day frankly. .
I’m sorry I may be offending some of the sugar lovers out there. But TRUST me, when you ween yourself off of foods with lots of refined sugar you will see what I mean. And with the alarming amount of sugar these days in our Starbucks drinks, ice creams, pops, fruit juices, and cakes, you will feel so much better. I think that we’ve seen a huge increase in the amount of sugar being put into our food in the last 20 years.
I rarely ever experience fatigue anymore from food. And it took me a long time to learn that this was because I was eating a lot of foods that weren’t good for my body. .
