This past week has been a whirlwind of on-the-go, deep fried, yes-sugar-added, “for my convenience” food. Yup, even health coaches aren’t always “perfect.” In these busy seasons in life, sometimes it’s needed. Along with the fact of me being in my autumn / pre-menstrual energy, she didn’t have the time OR energy to focus on cooking meals with everything going on.
But, I know that phase, those few days fade. And now my body is literally craving slowness and attention to the quality of my food. So this week is all about getting back to my default: cooking from scratch with real, whole food.
I started this week with this simple yet delicious meal: baked halibut, gluten free pasta, and salad All made with organic, wild caught ingredients. And the cucumbers and tomatoes even came from 20 ft outside my door from my garden! This meal filled my stomach, heart, and soul!
