I have really enjoyed coaching the young men that came to me for the high school program at @thedirtygym this summer.
Standout athlete is Trenton Webb who has gained 8lbs of lean mass in 8 weeks while getting stronger and faster. Growing young men need to be pushed HARD but reminded that our coaches have done everything we are asking them to do.
Trenton has followed the plan and came to strength and conditioning class 3 days a week, and ate the recommended amount of calories for his age and athletic ability from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (3k-4K kilocalories a day). Show up, do the work, eat to recover and sleep. These young men also attended soccer conditioning on top of these classes and performed better than their peers. They also enjoyed their summer and went on vacation to the lake and Florida. These are busy young men.
