Amazing work everyone Each day, youth visiting @myfriendsplace receive a fresh pair of socks. Socks help a young person experiencing homelessness feel cared for. Being without clean socks can lead to discomfort and foot ailments in cold, wet weather and when traveling by foot all day!!! Thanks to you, we get to donate 1500 pairs of socks to @myfriendsplace this holiday season!!! We can't thank you enough!
We just love this time of year when our corporate friends come by to hand deliver their year-end gifts! Our Director of Development, Ashlyn, loved getting to spend time last week with the Sam's Club Fuel Team. We would be thrilled to host you and your team for a tour of our house this holiday season. Come see first hand how lives are changing at Saving Grace! Call 479-636-1133 for more information. #savinggracenwa#samsclub#fostercare#agingout#homelessyouth#nwatheplaceforchange#yearendsharing
Between 1.6 and 2.8 million youth run away every year. If all these young people lived in one city it would be the fifth largest city in the U.S.
How much do you know about what happens to a young person once they’re on the streets? Link in bio to learn more
We’re excited to share our video about the HomeWalk experience. One of the organizations’ staff that we interviewed alternated carrying a heavy bag labeled “homelessness” to demonstrate the burden of being homeless.
