Life is frail, no matter how small or substantial the problems. For the first time, we understood what it was like to be a family without being shrouded by a web of lies.
Happy birthday dad.
Thank you for helping me achieve my goals and seeing eye to eye with me. We’ve both come really far together despite our shortcomings and the awful language barrier that always plagued the frustrations of not being able to communicate with you.
When I took this photo of a family preparing dinner, I couldn’t help but be reminded of you. It’s been a rough many years, but I want you to know: you strove to provide for me no matter what and you did what you felt was right. Most importantly, you’re happy now because you found those that could give you what you need in life. Not what you wanted, because what we want isn’t always good for us, but what you genuinely needed in order to mend yourself of the past.
I’ve been in the process of planning an entirely new series. Meanwhile, I’m very excited to have received confirmation with regards to travel plans next year.
