Went to @howesoundbrewing for the @beyondmeat burger and they were out The tempeh burger and spicy cauliflower were close runners up! (Ps. The mayo was N O T veg) When I was here last year, they did not label their vegan options (if they had any) so it really goes to show that voting with your dollars works!
Yes!!!! 2 small bottles of the famous King Heffy Hefeweizen. Here at the Howe Sound Brewery in Squamish BC, Canada. They have it on tap again since this monday when we were there. Seems they where waiting for me. Haha. ————————————Hashtags
Ascension 2017 (Triple IPA) - 11% ABV by @howesoundbrewing. I first had this one on tap a few months back while visiting the brewery in Squamish. Unfortunately they were out of bottles but I was lucky enough to find one closer to home. Took this baby out last week during a rainy stroll to keep me warm. Bit sweet, strong and pretty hoppy. That 11% doesn't hide, it's definitely boozy. Had I finished this all on my walk, it probably would have turned into a crawl.
My parents always loved licorice and I was never really a fan of it, so when I got this about two years ago I thought that I should try to hold onto it until their next visit so I can share it with them. Well somehow I did manage to hold onto it for the last few years and finally cracked it tonight. They had a sample and were done but I went back for re-fill and might even go back for a third top up. I'm enjoying it but I definitely wouldn't want to drink the whole 1L bottle in one night though. #optimusprimesbeeradventures#licorice#imperialstout#howesoundbrewing

So excited about Squamish Beer Festival that I’ve got a special beer just for the occasion! The Double Dragon double IPA with dragon fruit & kiwi is fruity, hoppy and packs a punch at 8%ABV. There’s only one keg of this mighty beer so don’t miss out! I’ll be at the @callisterbeer tent along with my great friends @morningstarbrewing and their delicious beers.
Do not look at these photos if you plan to hike The Chief for the first time.... trust me, the view is worth waiting to see in person. ;) The Chief in Squamish has 3 peaks overlooking the valley and Howe Sound. We love this hike because it’s great for challenging your fitness PLUS you can see Howe Sound Brewing from the top. “Hey oh, Bartender!!! A pint of Sky Pilot if you please!”
Thought this spire thing was the end of the route. But tucked at the base was an awkward treed gully leading to a gritty airy ramp toward the true summit. It’s no wonder there is a beer named after this peak #iwassothirsty
HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE!!!
Last nights sunset was the perfect summer kickoff and we can’t wait for more of those warm patio nights!!
