Sundays are my favorite day of the week partly for my love of #socksunday but mostly because it's the one day of the week that I don't typically do any responsible tasks or any sort of "adulting". Sundays are reserved for just doing whatever I want, whether that's lounging around and reading, playing with my dog and being outdoors, playing video games, baking, visiting family or any mix of said activities. The point is, for me, Sundays are for self-care and having a bit of "me-time". Life gets pretty crazy and can be pretty stressful so I have found taking some time away is vital for my mental health. Self-care doesn't have to be fancy or expensive, it's as simple as taking some time just for you, to do whatever makes you happy.
So today, I'm starting my reread of Red Rising, drinking some tea and playing outside with my dog.
