INVEST AND COMMIT
Having taken some pretty large-scale decisions in the past few weeks & months, this particular viewpoint is never far away from being front-&-centre of my mind…
In all walks of life, there’s always a “wait & see” mindset, debating whether now is the right time or not, of if there’s going to be a better opportunity or moment round the corner.
Instead of always waiting & wondering what might be, INVEST in yourself & COMMIT to getting to that point you are longing for.
This decision doesn’t necessarily need to be on the grandest of scales, but it can be the little things too - paying for that new course, buying that gym membership you’ve been hesitating over, investing in a PT or coach (🙋🏼♂️) because you’re unsure of the next step to take w/ your fitness goals.
The jump may result in a sacrifice in the short-term (monetarily anyway), but further down the road there is no doubt that you will be in a far better position than if you either: A) never end up pulling the trigger or B) delay & delay until you’re left with a far more limited period to get to where you want/need to be.
Both tend to result in greater levels of both stress & unhappiness - as well as that awful lingering question of “what if?”
The investment itself can be monetary, time intensive or effort-based, but you’e got value yourself enough to be willing to make that investment into making yourself the best version that you can be.
“If you don't feel as if you have the means to invest in yourself, that's a pretty key indicator that you NEED to invest in yourself.”
The same goes for confidence or belief, if you don’t have either in yourself to begin committing, then that’s another great sign that maybe it is the right time to do so.
