After an overnight stay in the car we set out for the world famous icelandic plane wreck at sunrise. Only got 40 minutes before tourists flooded the site for the day, nevertheless we met many amazing photographers and filmmakers from all around the globe.
Sleepy Seal (or is it a sea lion?!) at Reykjavik zoo 😴
Búðakirkja is a wooden black church in the southern side of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It is a popular stop in Western Iceland because of the stark contrast of a minimalistic structure against the raw, often gloomy, backdrop of lava fields in the town of Búðir. #icelandtravel #teamesloyotravels #iceland #snaefellsnes #himayasadios
I had the most amazing days with you @siriix3 here in Iceland. We drove around Snæfellsnes, down to golden circle over the highlands and ended up in Selfoss. We can say we’ve seen a huge amount of western Iceland but we still have a lot left to discover. I can’t wait for you to come back and see more of beautiful Iceland. One of the best things was definitely meeting Dakota and Dustin. Thank you for the great time boys. 🖤
Gorgeous Gullfoss (the golden waterfall) at the very eastern point of golden circle. Gullfoss is a huge strong waterfall with an amazing view. It was definitely one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve seen yet but it’s very crowded.
Golden circle is a nice area to see some amazing nature in Iceland but I think it’s overrated. Probably won’t go there again.
Hubby, are you a dementor? 'Cause you take my breath away :DD
Waterfalls everywhere. This one was near greenlandsea in the west of Iceland. Try to drive smaller roads when you’re visiting Iceland. You will find beautiful little treasures you won’t see from the ring road.
