It’s hard sometimes to give a truly review about a new restaurant, caffè or bar I’ve tried here in Zürich. The main reason is simple: even though I’m aware of the fact that Switzerland is more expansive than Italy, and people working here have a proportionate salary (so most of times the life costs fit their income), for me it’s still psychologically difficult to see such a high bill when we go out for dinner. 😌
Said so, I’d like to share my last food ORGASMIC experience 🍔
At @brisket_bbq you can have hamburgers and nice soul starters, but we had a shared platter (the TEXAS TRIANGLE) with shredded chicken, brisket and pulled pork, along with coleslaw and delicious homemade french fries 🤤
My mouth is watering again just thinking about it...
anyway, ok: use the fork to take your part of meat and to place it on your small tin plate, but then go with hands: it’s a huge pleasure to eat such a delicious, aromatic and soft meat, taking a peace of their house bun 🍞 and make your own mini-beef sandwich 🥪
I suggest to wash everything with a local red ale beer and to not talk until you finish: just enjoy, only you and the food. 💕
And finally it comes my judgment on the price: considering the large amount of food (we brought home a nice human-bag) and the quality of our meal, Brisket offers a great option to enjoy a dinner out in Zürich.
Fair price for a surely worthy feast!
(and if an Italian says so, you can believe it)
