On to Day 4 of #marchmeetthemaker - tools. I don't use anything too exciting, iron, sewing machine, seam ripper (d'oh!). The very basics are my rotary cutter and serger. I mentioned in a recent post that there's something cathartic about the hum of the serger. For me, the serger means a finished product, as it is the last step in making my nursing pads. And when I first started out, I was cutting 5x5 squares of fabric with scissors! My poor wrists! The rotary cutter allows me to cut hundreds of pieces in a short time, perfect for assembly-line preparation.
