Winter is almost here. In two days we'll have the winter solstice, and in a few days more, Christmas. I must say this is a complicated time for me, Christmas I mean. I used to love Christmas a lot, and I still do, I still love everything related to this holiday, however, it seems like every year all this makes me more and more sad. I don't know if it's because of the depression I'm dealing with, or just because the celebration is not being done how it would supposed to be, with ALL the people I love.

Fushimi Inari Shrine (伏見稲荷大社, Fushimi Inari Taisha) is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds.
