I have a secret....
Monday evening I started something new.. something amazing, something that has completely changed my dreaded 4 AM wake-ups. It’s given me energy, a smile, & a light to start my day.
I write myself love notes. YUP.
Why, because when I wake up at 4 AM to workout... like, no one is happy.. no one wants to be up that early to put in work. So, I started doing this before I go to bed.
I lay out my workout clothes, I set up my coffee and mug, I lay my binder, my computer and my water bottle next to my new keurig (thanks honey) and I write myself a note.
Nothing crazy, just something to say “Good Morning Beautiful. Today is going to be a great day, but first go kill your workout”
When I woke up that first morning after doing this... oh em G-unit... like fuggin’ money for my energy, vibrations and spirit!! So, last night I tried something different again... I wrote myself a goal note. A little sweet something to start my morning, but also a goal for myself for the day.
Writing this before I went to bed was a way for me to get it out of my head, so I wasn’t tossing and turning in bed... and it’s like my BOSS telling me my task for the day.
Show up. Go up.
I am NOT a morning person, I MADE myself a morning person. Try this tonight before you go to bed... see just how much better waking up can be with a little sweet love from yourself from the night before... and make sure to stay for breakfast your body needs that love too.
