There was a time after spinning my 3rd or 4th wedding that I felt that I didn’t want to do them anymore. Not because I bombed or anything, but because there is a lot that goes into them. That pressure of a couple’s special day being one to remember (in a good way) is a big deal.
Now 13 weddings later (one international) after having those thoughts, I’m glad I stuck with it. I now feel honored when couples ask me to provide the soundtrack for the celebration of their nuptials. That is a level of trust that should not ever be taken lightly. In my opinion, the DJ is probably one the Top 3 most important, if not the most important, piece of the day. Don’t be afraid to spend that money on a good DJ. That is an area where you do not want to risk saving a few coins. Shout out to all those couples who didn’t hesitate to book Miss H.E.R. I appreciate you all for being great people to work with, and treating my team like one of the guests!
