India Eats ️ Delhi
This quintessential Indian street food that makes foodies go weak in their knees .
The Golgappas have satisfactorily received so much love for more than a century and here to stay. They have different names across the country like Puchkas, Pani Pooris, Batasha but same recepie. One can't help but notice without any amusement a never ending queue of people of all age group next to a popular Golgappa vendor and Happiness pouring out of their hearts. What a sight, a true delight! It rhymed !
Golgappas~ It is basically round, hollow fried crisps, filled with mash potatoes and chikpeas and then dipped to fill, in the water made with tamarind chutney, chillies,Chaat Masala. This slightly sweet slightly tangy water bomb explodes with flavor the moment you slide it in your mouth . Just Wow!
