The lunch tat came up in stories yesterday, capsicum rice, mixed vegetables poricha kootu, onion tomato raitha.
Capsicum rice in highlights. Kootu : just replaced spinach with mixed vegetables in the spinach kootu in highlights.
Contemporary meets vintage. This tan silk saree with embroidered blue circles used to belong to my husband's grandmother. I had set it aside and forgotten about it since I didn't have a blouse to pair with it. Yesterday, as I was rummaging through my closet, I found a blue lace overlay peplum top that I bought from @forever21 from few years ago. It looks like the blue top was made for the saree. I was worried about the blouse being too chunky for the dainty saree so I made wide pallu pleats which provided the heft the saree needed. @stella_anddot earrings completed the look!

This recipe is my 50th post in blog.. it’s been more than a year since I started blogging and very slowly reached 50th post! Sometimes I will think of quitting since I am not able to post regularly but insta plays a big part in inspiring and motivating me to continue with it.. In recent few days I was able to post regularly and feel good about it.. I wanted to thank all of you for your continuous support.. I have a list of people who motivates me every time I post. It was just myself and mom for lunch Today. And our quick lunch plate had Bottle gourd carrot rice, beets raita. Super easy, quick and healthy.
