AMC was one of the muscle car companies of the past that have long been forgotten today. They existed in an era when big block V8s were the norm and back when MPG just didn't matter. Ask most people today if they know what AMC is and they'll probably think it's the movie theater company. However, some people cherish AMC and can't just let it die. The @ringbrothers are those people. Here is the Ring Brother's custom resto-mod 1972 AMC Javelin known as "Defiant!". Unlike the Javelins of back then, this resto-mod has received tons of new modern cosmetic touches to give it both a new and old school look. On top of that, this custom one off AMC Javelin is powered by the 6.2L HEMI found in the current Dodge Challenger/Charger Hellcat. In addition to that, the HEMI has been equipped with an aftermarket Whipple supercharger for a grand horsepower total of 1036. Oddly enough the "Defiant" Javelin is also filled with numerous Chevy based parts such as a 12-bolt Chevrolet differential and a GM 4L80E transmission. Regardless of what brand is in the car, this build is truly one of the cleanest resto-mods out there today.
