Jangan ngaku sempurna karna kesempurnaan itu milik tuhan
Head over the @instagrafite blog for my interview with photographer Katherine ‘@lunapark’ Lorimer about her new book (UN)SANCTIONED: The Art On New York Streets
In celebration of of Luna’s first book, we took a tour of various places she has documented over the past 11 years, and compared the images captured in her book. Due to rapid development and hyper-gentrification, many of these location are totally unrecognizable. We also spent a long time talking about the evolution of urban art, the effects of social media, what motivates her to document, and the future of art on the street

I was up on a Bushwick #rooftop a few weeks ago when off in the distance something caught my eye. A tight crop gave me this image. I recognize @thesweettoof and #smells in the background but will need help IDing the foreground pieces.
I'm super pleased to let you know that my interview with @nicoleglevine for @stylabl is now up. I hope you'll take a look. And once again my sincerest gratitude to Nicole and Sian for giving me a voice. These ladies are top shelf. The link to the interview is http://stylabl.com/raphael-gonzalez/ but you'll have to type it in as Instagram doesn't allow links in posts or you can click on the link which I've added to my profile here. If I've tagged you in this photo then you are mentioned in words or photo. My biggest regret is that I wasn't able to mention ALL the great artists who's paths I have crossed and who I have recorded in photos. I'll get to you in the near future! Big things ahead. This photo: Nicole admiring the work of @whatwillyouleavebehind at the recent outdoor market.
Seems like lately I've been able to get some clean shots of murals that usually have cars or other objects in front of them. This amazing and massive piece by @rubin415 has been around for a while now, pretty much untouched, finally unblocked and asking to be photographed. And so I shot it! The car all the way to the left and the bicycle all the way to the right will give you a sense of scale for this piece #rubin415
