Rarely do I get the opportunity to interview people. So recently, I felt the need to put those skills to use. And who better to put in the hot seat than one of my really good friends, and photo mission partner in crime Jeremy @deaf_jam Cline. True story, I first interviewed Jeremy years ago, back in 2011 for a final video journalism project.
Hometown: Harrisonburg, Virginia
Best thing about your hometown:
A community that I have built almost my whole life with my friends.
Finishing up a two-month-house-renovation-project, a beach trip with dogs, exploring new sections of Shenandoah River with paddles. More camping, hopefully. Just living life.
Ignorant drivers, who go 5 or 10 mph under the speed limit, speed up as I try to pass them. Ridiculous!
Jeez, I love them all...I guess fall. More fun waves in September/October while the water is still warm. Plus, autumn foliage.
You and I have shot together a good amount over the last several years. Both of us have come a long way from when we first met. Any photo shoot sessions that stand out to you?
Man, all of our sessions were super fun. I would say the session in Alley Cat at Seven Springs last year stands out the most to me because we were such productive in a very short amount of time and ended up with three good shots. Also, I never tried to do a 360 inverted tail grab over a propane tank till that day.
Something that most people don't know about you:
I have been on a pool league team for 10 years. Don’t consider me as a pool shark. I never practice. Haha
With superhero genres[Movie/TV] on the rise, if you could have a super power, what would it be?
Your normal hearing! Haha (I am profoundly deaf, go figure.)
What life advice do you wish you could give to your younger self? Goggle tan lines are not cool. Put sunscreen all over you, especially your cartilage parts like nose and ears. You have like at least 70 years being exposed to the sun. If you regularly put them on, you will look much younger at age 70.
OK, but a serious question...pancakes or waffles? Pancakes are better frisbees! Oh yeah, waffle pans are not fun to clean.
