Here I am 🙂!
Back in Montreal after an intensive training in Jamaica, Kingston where I took a total of 18 classes in 11 days only👊🏾!
Again, like in 2017, when I first traveled to the island, I didn’t plan at all this trip even thought about it, since I’m now a mommy.
How can I travel without my baby? Is that something possible?
I can now confirm : YES ☺️!
It took me 5 months to organise this trip and I’m so proud of myself.
This time, my focus was clear from the beginning.
I was there to learn, understand the dance and its culture by taking as much as possible classes with Jamaican dancers and crews that inspire me to explore the style and share it to my students in a way where I can push them to get an interest for the culture, know the origin of the moovs, but also through choreographies.
I couldn’t resist to party too and for that I was really happy and lucky to enjoy these moments with my Canadian friend @gale.claire 💛.
This was exactly what I needed to start 2019 😀.
I feel now so inspired and motivated.
I am thankful and blessed for all the knowledge that I bring back with me, I’ll make sure to use and share that knowledge in a good way.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to all the teachers that taught me the right things during this trip: @rhy___kripticklique, @xqlusiv_dancecrew, @hecticdymondz_ja, @smashingskankaz_ja, @sopremeblazzaz_realpage, @pancho_cautiion, @legendary_colocolo, @mhebojheanz_legacy_dancehall, @citidancaz_official_page, @equanoxx_shankaz, @orvillexpressionz, @shellyxpressionz, @bgdancerzteam, @dancehallwassi_offical, @joelimmortal, @mara_jackhammer, @scrachy_edhaadie, @overload_skankaz_teroy 🙏🏾!Thank you the @belleh23ja, @sanjayisthename and @xqlusiv_dancecrew for the positiv vibes in the house 🙌🏾!
