My easy tips for decorating for any events are platters, fake plants, outdoor garden pots, string or ribbon, fabric store and the outdoors. Cindy’s garland across the fireplace cost me $100.00. With lots of parties coming up. She only has to add a few real leaves, a few flowers, rinse, repeat for next year. We’re neutral this year but we also designed to add colours. With Cindy’s house I was experimenting on time. It took longer because I was thinking of everything. Table, biggest impact for bang for your buck. Pillows. I didn’t want all pillows to be just Christmas and besides coffee tables, pillows have been the hardest thing to coordinate. It’s not like we can go out and spend $600.00 on pillows and then to spend another $300.00 on Christmas pillows. It’s a blend of everything that works.
Im never on Facebook. I do have blogs “ what’s the password” and I will try harder to focus on a blog. I don’t respond on Instagram a lot for I’m “post and go”. I do appreciate everyone who is on this page and I use it to help think beyond the what’s always in front of us. Sometimes we have to think an alternate source. My life is fast and I like the problem solving vs. The picture. I don’t take great pictures so I appreciate when people use my space for photo ops or in general drop by to gain an idea. I like being original, selling original and I like making a $10,000 item for less. Experience, experiments, fail, gains. Who cares? Points are “you got it, saved money, LOVE IT and still in style years later. Add a few things to change, I helped even a few years later. •
