100 Days of Scotland: Day #11: Holyrood Abbey is a ruined abbey of the Canons Regular in Edinburgh, Scotland. The abbey was founded in 1128 by King David I. It has survived lootings, mobs, fires, storms and time. The foundation holds. Arguably, it is even more beautiful because of the mystery of it's scars. The scars have set it apart.
A good lesson, wouldn't you say?
2 Corinthians 12:9“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Matthew 7:24-25 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock."
