Week 4 of my plan is officially a wrap. We made some more steady & sustainable progress with the guidance of this gem @abigail_gould Fat loss & retaining as much muscle as possible was the goal & that's exactly how its playing out! Weight down, measurements down, starting to notice some definition in my legs & some really welcomed added strenght in my back, which I'm excited about because that has been my weakest area since Day 1.
And now I'm ready to do it all over again for week 5 But I'm not going to lie, when I woke up this morning all I wanted to really do was stay in bed. But I got up, got dressed, (currently sipping on a coffee) & now I'm ready to put the work in! 2xwork shifts ahead of me, study, & a Chest, Shoulders & Triceps session to get in & they will all be checked off my list by the time I go to sleep tonight. I get excited & feel grateful every time I wake up to a new day, so just because I woke up to this one feeling a little tired (a really insignificant complaint in the scheme of things) I won't let it have a negative effect on the rest of my day.Even when it seems tough & takes more of an effort than usual, I am dedicated to bettering myself, learning from my weaknesses, rising to a challenge & overcoming it!
But in the pursuit of becoming our next best selfs know that its not all rainbows, candyfloss & unicorns, we are human, & by our very nature we will screw up & that's more than okay, its NORMAL. With that said, no matter what happened yesterday, or last week, or 5 minites ago, we have control over what we choose to do right now. And the truth is, no matter what you choose to do today, the sun is going to set either way regardless of whether you approached the day with a positive or negative attitude. All I know, its that the sun set is a given, there is an allocated amount of time to everyday & there's no guarentees that we will rise to meet the next one. Time is precious, so my motto is to choose to atleast make a conscious decision to try to make the best out of every good & bad situation.
