A day indoors was duely needed, therefore, some wee snaps from a few days ago I thought I would play with my 'feel hues' of this special place and share with you.
A beautiful old cemetery full of old detailed headstones, gargoyles, doorways, railings, lampost and trees. Past and present living alongside each other day by day.
A poignant moment this night as it is my late father's birthday tomorrow, passed 2yrs now, and he would have loved the history in this Village too. We were two of a kind and my frequents to places like this were his encouragement to accept life and death for they go hand in hand.
Tonight, I, although sad at his physical absence, i feel my dad is with me in spirit as long as I breathe and embrace what a gift I had in him being my dad, my best friend, my laughter buddy and kindred spirit. Tomorrow my sister's and I will embrace his memory and laugh at the times we shared and still channel his being through us. I miss my step dad too as he has also passed but giving that they became good friends then we will raise a cup of tea to them both down by the Sea and a bit of Scottish banter on the side. For now time to lift my heart and wish you all a good night or day as I settle down to catch some zzzzz xx
