After a yoga injury a few years ago my sacrum and vertebrae slipped out, and this week, I'm admitting how much pain I'm still in daily.
Its a hard thing to admit because I've done so much work to get back to shape. When I saw the eclipse in Idaho in August, I felt a deep internal boom as my body came into line with the sun and the moon, and since then, my life theme has been all about alignment. I've said no to things that don't fit and yes to things that surprisingly do. Here in Maui, I'm going through an intense training with Eddie Modestini that is demanding I relearn so many patterns. Im feeling my whole body realign, and letting the tears flow in the process. I can't ignore it any more. Time to get really real with what feels good for me.
Staying in alignment calls for constant recalibration. What was true before is often not true now, and being really honest with ourselves about that is key. When we tune back into our center, our internal compass can take over, and we can slip easily back into the flow.
