It's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend 😀 So a happy Friday it is because it's a long weekend. Which means we have MORE. Maybe it's MORE time to spend with family, friends and loved ones. Maybe it's MORE food to cook, bake and eat. Or maybe it's MORE time for yourself to recharge, reflect or reset. What are you going to do MORE of?
Wherever you find yourself this weekend, I hope it includes a tasty pumpkin pie. I confess, I was a late adopter of all things pumpkin. But I'm a convert now and obsessed 😋 A great source of Vitamin A, B potassium, protein and iron, pumpkin is low in calories, fat and sodium, but high in fiber. A member of the gourd family, which includes cucumbers, honeydew melons, cantaloupe, watermelons and zucchini, they are one of the most versatile fruits used to make soups, breads, desserts and pie.
From my dish to yours, I wish you all a happy blessed Canadian Thanksgiving🎃🍁
