Yesterday I celebrated an anniversary: Three years of Feasts! It was July 9, 2015 that I first hosted an event, called “A Taste of Ancient Greece” with my friends. We designed the meal around stories and storytelling at the table—this was at the edge of my comfort zone, and still I plunged in.
Since then, I’ve traveled through space and time, looking for the most compelling food stories. Two years ago, I began to weave in symbolism and stories that tapped the roots of the human experience, including archetypes, fairy tales, and various mythologies. The whole journey started with sparks of magic and intuition, and I am proud to have journeyed through this three years and still have some faith in the threads for the future.
Thank you @tighedalwave @chefmazi and @rosemary_for_remembrance for supporting the first threads of the vision, and thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. Your belief in me is beyond my thanking, but still, I offer a humble and whole-hearted THANK YOU! .
