Regrann from @dswt - Little Mapia was found collapsed along a pathway back in November, at the height of the drought. Knowing that there wasn’t a minute to lose, a speedy rescue was initiated and the one-year-old was flown to the DSWT. For days, he hovered between life and death, until proper nutrition and round-the-clock medical care finally began to work their magic. Now, four months later, we’re beginning to see his playful personality emerge. While he tends to keep himself to himself, Mapia has begun initiating games with the other orphans — an invitation his new friends accept with great enthusiasm! Moments like these prove that little by little, the bull is coming out of his shell and embracing his new life.
