It's been a turbulent year for Tiemoue Bakayoko, but it seems as though the midfielder has now finally turned a corner.
After arriving at Chelsea last summer the France midfielder started his career at the Blues brightly. But his performances soon waned and he was eventually dropped by Antonio Conte.
The 24-year-old was then loaned out to AC Milan at the start of this season - and things didn't begin well there.
Worryingly, boss Gennaro Gattuso claimed the midfielder had 'defects in his game'. And to make matters worse, Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport wrote: "He leaves the impression that the ball is burning when he has it."
But three months into his loan and it now seems as though Bakayoko has turned a corner, his performance against Juventus on Sunday evening a fine example of that.
Bakayoko played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 defeat and, despite the result, Milan fans thought he deserved to be crowned man of the match.
One supporter tweeted: "Bakayoko Milan's MOTM against Juve for me. He forms a very good partnership with Kessie on the centre mid. Dominant in the air, re-gaining possession". Chelsea are unlikely to make the move permanent if his performance were that good as the Milan fans claimed.
