We would like to share this inspiring story with all of you.
#MontahaParaTodos - MOUNTAIN FOR EVERYBODY's Project.
Juliana and Guilherme (Brazilians) have always been a couple in love with nature trails, mountains, and travels. Together, they have walked through more than 30 different places, until Juliana had breast cancer. With the support of the family and with great determination, the couple won this battle.
After this fright, the couple decided to pause in this life of adventures and they left in search of a new realization: a son. Juliana then became pregnant, but in the midst of this new course of life, a new health problem appeared. An extremely rare neurological syndrome in the case of Juliana, for cancer reappearance.
Even with all her fighting, Juliana managed to complete the pregnancy safely until the 7th month and little Benjamin was born!
The couple's love for the mountains continued, but Juliana could no longer reach them. To make Juliana live life the way she was imposing herself, Guilherme made a promise to his wife: "Wherever you want to go, I'll take you!" From that began a mobilization between husband, wife, and friends. After a few tries, Guilherme Juliana took to the mountains with a new companion, "Julietti", an adapted chair designed especially for Juliana. The chair was so certain that the idea is that it, Julietti, be accessible to the largest number of people with other disabilities.
And so the project was born: MOUNTAIN FOR EVERYBODY! See how to help this project http://montanhaparatodos.com.br/como-ajudar/
. Juliana and Guilherme are both participating in what would be one of the nicest trips we have ever been in, in Bolivia looking to climb a 6000mts mount. The greatest Raphael Nishimura is also participating in this trip. The team is acclimatizing well, yesterday they reached the top of Mt Chacaltaya (5.400mts) - Bolivia. Stay tuned to know more info about this encouraging team! @gentedemontanhaoficial lead by the expert, @MaximoKausch, with Raphael Nishimura, Edu Tonetti, Maria T.
