Wow. This is a truth 💣 that my mentor posted earlier today.
This can be an uncomfortable concept to digest but one that is important to understand if you truly want to achieve your highest level of health and vitality. Broke my fast with this big ol’ breakfast (for dinner). Two slices of bacon, two eggs, and @ketolibriyum herb and garlic bagel with a little bit of butter. YUM. Breakfast has always been my favourite meal of the day AND it’s hella easy to make. I decided to extend my fast to 20 hours - nothing crazy long but it was simply because I had a lot of things to do today, and food would’ve slowed me down. Intermittent fasting has been something I’ve practiced for just under a year now. If you’re curious about it, do some research! It’s been a saving grace for me in regards to my schedule, I don’t have to worry about eating every two hours, and I can be much more flexible. What would you eat first after a long fast?🥓🍳🥯

Sorry it has been a while since I posted. I’ve been in a weird head space, not a bad one just weird. In the last two weeks I have been conditioning my endurance to run for a longer period of time and have been breaking my records constantly. So this morning I woke up and said “I’m going to run a 5k.” So I did, breaking and other record. What’s the next record going to be? 😜

Randomly decided to test my blood ketones and glucose. I’m just shy of 22.5 hours fasted. My first reaction was poooooooop cause It’s annoying that I’m not in a good blood ketones range. My other reaction is oh well - my blood glucose is fine so that’s a huge accomplishment for my body. Still annoyed though can’t help it. On the other upside I’m obviously experiencing other good effects of this way of eating cause I’m not hungry. Anyhoo, dinner is in the oven so I’ll be breaking this fast soon 😊
