I can safely say the game itself is pretty good. Nothing spectacular but still very enjoyable!
The story was fine. Easy to follow for the most part but I didn't really feel anything after it was all over. The Kingdom Hearts overall story definitely has me intrigued though!
I had the most fun with the combat. It was always so satisfying hitting things with a giant key while the Heartless explode with goodies after they are defeated. Donald & Goofy were completely worthless though. On multiple occasions I beat a boss by myself while they laid there unconscious.
Speaking of bosses, I loved them! There is much more to the combat than constantly pressing 'X' until the bosses go down. Each one has a different set of combat cues that tell you when they are about to unleash powerful attacks. The only end game boss I was able to beat was Kurt Zisa... everyone else destroyed me 😵
The biggest issue I had was definitely with the platforming. I love the idea of using it to help discover treasures & new areas. However, it's incredibly clunky and is serviceable at best. Add the spotty camera to the mix makes platforming an annoyance instead of a fun thing to do.

This is my twitch stream (the_real_d247) gameplay on the Playstation 4 of me entering the final world; Scala Ad Caelum to fight the final boss; Master Xehanort. It is roughly 34 minutes. The stream captures the whole fight including the cinematics. Overall it was an intense fight and fun game. The real credits are long and also have a secret ending that also was not allowed to be broadcast. If you love Kingdom Hearts then I truly advise you pick up a copy of the game today and fully enjoy what the game has in store. Thank you to those who watched the stream and to you now for checking out my video! Share, like, subscribe to my IG, TWITCH, and YOUTUBE for more creative works and game related videos of mine!
