I woke up around 5am wide awake...I was up for a bit, but then made myself go back to bed because I haven’t had enough sleep the past 2 nights (Gabi Tzu has been barking up a storm during the night for some reason ). So I went back to sleep and then woke up in a panic when I saw it was 8:35am We needed to leave the house at 8:40am to get Conner to camp on time. So I ran downstairs and found Conner in the kitchen packing his lunch He cut & scooped the inside of a tomato out and stuffed it with lettuce, @safecatchfoods tandoori spiced tuna from a pouch, and topped with microgreens. He also cut carrots to eat with the mint pesto we made this week, with spicy olives and some grapes. I was so happy to see he had packed his own lunch. He said, “I hope it’s okay I’m not proper food-combining by putting grapes into my lunch” (since I never put fruit in his lunches...I only pack it alone for snacks) and I said of course it is!! I think I might have to sleep in more often, because he tends to “step it up” when I do He had already showered, oil pulled for an hour, brushed his teeth, packed his lunch and was ready to go! Normally I find him reading a book somewhere when it’s time to leave, as I’m doing things to get us out of the house. Now I know the secret...to stay in bed longer.
