Was it delicious? It was.
But was the price adequate to what it really is? I don't think so.
I don't want to sound snotty and/or stingy, because I don't think I am like that, but.
I literally spent in South Korea a month with @parrotlair , most of days eating our dinners at any kinds of (mostly) traditional restaurants. We ate samgyeopsal/Korean BBQ more than once.
And for the price that was paid today we would have a feast. And we would get water (or even beer) for free 😒.
This, however... I love samgyeopsal, but let's be honest - it's not a very expensive dish -except of the meat itself-, the ingredients are not uncommon or unusual, so I don't really understand why it cost this much here? I knew the price beforehand, so I was expecting something extra? But even the rice wasn't originally in the set (I will never forget the waitress face when she saw @parrotlair 's glare 😂😂😂). That's unimaginable in Korea 🙈🙈🙈.
Don't get me wrong - it tasted very good, ingredients were good quality and I'd gladly eat more, but not for this price - not for this amount. My desire for samgyeopsal was slightly satisfied but the whole deal was ridiculous.
Wow, what a rant. Later we went to eat something sweet to compensate, so at least I was happy with that XD.
