RN Sheila came to the office today and modeled a hat I knit for #HatNotHate ☺💙 October is National Bullying Prevention Month and #LionBrandYarn and #theofficialstompoutbullying began a campaign to spread awareness about bullying. Knitters and crocheters across the country are creating and distributing blue hats, encouraging posting on social media to spread the word. ✌ #BeKind#LoveMore#enough
I knit all year but the nip in the air this evening makes me especially excited to cast on. It's chilly enough on my front porch right now that I'm wearing a sweater for the first time in awhile. I just started a Marled Mania Cardigan, my first ever @westknits project. This is going to be so much fun. The yarn dyers are tagged, this is an assembly of my 2018 festival souvenir yarns. It's going to be so special to knit them into one garment. #marledmaniasweater#katrinkles#sweaterknitting#westknits#knittersofinstagram
Meet Cozy Al. That’s short for Cozy Alpaca Chunky by Ella Rae Yarns - 120 yards of the most luscious blend of 30% alpaca and 70% acrylic you can imagine. And it’s machine washable - no lie! The fall colors here are amazingly vivid, but we’ve also got incredible pastels and neutrals for your cold-weather crafting needs. @uselessbayknits has made an incredible colorwork hat, and Lindsey’s trying to figure out if she can bang out a quick hat and cowl before Oregon Flock and Festival this weekend. Stay tuned!
