Come home to your heart.
Come back to unconditional love.
Always.💜 Last night we attended a beautiful mass Meditation and book launch for @jonnipollard organised by @laura_poole @mahasoma 🙏
In his talk, Jonni described the loss of connection between humans like this... (summarised with my interpretation) It's about surrender to our natural tribal instinct. We were once hunters and gatherers working together not only for ourselves, but also for others. The gift of giving warming our hearts, bringing it immense pleasure. And there it lies, the need for belonging. Our natural human instinct is to belong to one another. Yet we have lost this. And it is time to come back to it. We have a yearning for connection, its like when you meet someone and they give you a good feeling, like they're easy to be around, it is that connection that we seek. Meditation is what brings us back to this, through Meditation we create self awakening, through this process we heal from old wounds, and let go of conditioning. The healing process is never pretty, learning to sit with and accept the mud isn't easy, but it's not impossible. When we sit with the pain it begins to lead us to a point of pain without suffering and when we recognise the pain as an opportunity for growth we create compassion for ourselves. This creates a deeper love for ourselves, and for others. Because when we are understanding of ourselves we become understanding of others. This glues that lost connection between all humans back together again. 👫👫👫 Jonni said social anxiety is at an all high because we have forgotten how to connect. I agree, not only because of the data that proves it, but because of my experience with it. The more I developed self love through healing, the more I developed an unconditional love for others, the more my anxiety begins to subside. There will be times we are faced with pain, that is inevitable, however, we can choose NOT to suffer through that pain. We are so damn powerful. Think about how much the human race has achieved. We are amazing. We can do anything. 🤗
