Alright, confession time: 2017 has been rough, and many things I set out to do this year just haven’t happened. I finally realised why: I’ve been trying to do things on other people’s schedules. I am a night owl with health problems; I cannot show up live every day. I struggle to keep scheduled commitments because of my health, and I need to be able to go to bed, rest, and recover when I get into a tailspin. I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out what works for me and releasing judgment that arises when I don’t live up to the idea that I’ll be able to function one way or another. 2018 is going to be all about implementing what works for me, and I couldn’t be more excited.
