This is Castle Geyser erupting just before sunset. I had positioned myself to capture the rainbow that might be created from the mist. However, during most of the eruption there was so much steam that the clouds of steam blocked any glimpse of a rainbow that might form. I just kept looking through my viewfinder and clicked away anytime I saw a hint of a rainbow.
Although not as big and defined as usual, I was able to capture a piece of a rainbow in this image. I'll take what I can get! ;) Equipment list: Nikon D850, Tamron Lenses USA SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD A032N, Sirui USA SR-3204 Tripod and K-40X Ballhead
