The number 8 spot on the Top Ten Cavaliers players goes to... Zydrunas Ilgauskas C (1996-2010) "Big Z" was the anchor at the center position for the Cavs through the awkward, crapshoot fase between Price and Daugherty, and the King's drafting. Z was drafted with the 20th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft to the Cavs out of his home country of Lituania. The 7'3" big was named to the All-Rookie First Team and the Rookie Challenge (Rising Stars) Challenge MVP. Z led the struggling Cavaliers for 7 years to the number one overall pick in 2003. The Cavaliers would select LeBron James. Z was Bron's second option for most of his first stint with the Cavs. Once James came to town Z's production was noticed as he was selected to the All Star team in James' rookie year (2003) and third year (2005). Big Z was the traditional post, rebounding center. Ilgauskas' number 11 was retired by the Cavs in 2014.
